The Space Process Simulation Laboratorysituated in room A101, is outfitted with a low-energy ion implanter. It can closely replicate the plasma environment of the early solar nebula. The applications of this instrument encompass various areas, including but not limited to:

  1.  Hydration processes of early solar system materials;

  2.  Surface modification of solid minerals;

  3.  Synthesis and stability research of life substances in plasma environments;

  4.  Reliability verification of payloads for satellites and deep space probes.
